Surface Design Study P.2 - 3D Applications

I had a lot of fun getting to experiment with these surfaces! I found the sphere a little challenging, just because I wasn't sure how to apply the design in a way that didn't look super boring, so I decided to mess with the reflection and lighting to make it a little less bland. I did really like the shape it ended up creating on the poles of the sphere.

This part was my favorite; it felt like a step into the type of modelling I'd especially like to learn more about, but I found it equally as challenging to make it seem somewhat organic as well. Loved playing with the lighting for this one.

I decided to go surface by surface for this part to create some variation, and it was fun to check out some of the Rhino environments!

At some point, I would like to go back and figure out a way to fill up some of the negative space in my design to make it more visually interesting.
